With her biological father dead, she heads to his funeral, carrying a truth that could change her place in the world. Yet before she can reach the family, a traffic dispute puts her in conflict with Grace, the wife of her father’s adopted son. After Grace hits Sky with her car, she uses the Ashford family’s influence at the police station, insults Sky, and presents a distorted version of what happened.
